Meet Nico!
Nico isn’t just the owner of Tempest; she’s a Jane of all trades—tattoo artist, welder, and DIY renovator extraordinaire. If it involves precision and a flare for silly decor, she’s your go-to.
Hailing from Waterloo, ON, Nico took a detour from the tattoo world for a chemistry degree, which led her to a career as a brewer and master distiller across Canada.
She’s lead numerous teams, excelling in adaptability, leadership and cultivating an eccentric atmosphere - but her artist heart won out in the end.
Hence, the creation of Tempest Tattoo Atelier, a haven where individuals feel embraced and at ease, where creativity flourishes, and community is above all else. Her tattoo style thrives in illustrative bold blackwork but she loves colourful neotraditional work as well!
Nico’s greatest passion right now is to turn Tempest into a hub for the art community in Kelowna, hosting markets, events, and community gatherings for people to simply be artists in a welcome environment where we make space for everyone.
